Sunshine Water Damage is an independent publication about water damage in Florida: what causes it in a state of hurricanes, summer storms and high humidity, what the restoration trade actually does about it, what insurers cover and exclude, and how the work goes in six cities. It began in 2021 as a set of city pages and has grown into a small archive of articles.
We are a publication, not a contractor. We do not carry out restoration work, quote for it, send anyone to a property, or pass a visitor’s details to a company that does. Where a page names or links to a restoration company, we say so on the page, and we have not assessed the company.
